From the Third Lanark dressing room to the Zico’s collection
Our first featured collector is Stuart Glover, a former player at Third Lanark and someone whose passion for football extends far beyond the pitch.
Stuart has built an impressive collection of football shirts from around the world, ranging from iconic international jerseys to classic club shirts, each with its own story.
During his visit to Zico’s he brought along some of his favourites, including vintage Colombia and Germany shirts, Scotland classics and other unique pieces from his personal collection. Every shirt reflects a memory, a match, a player or simply a love of football history.
We also took the opportunity to photograph some of the collection around the Barras, showing that football culture isn’t confined to stadiums—it lives through the supporters who preserve its history. Here Stuart is pictured with our pal Andreas from Colombian Bites!
This is the first of what we hope will become a regular series celebrating football collectors from Scotland and beyond.
