We were delighted to welcome actor Douglas Sannachan back to Zico at The Barras recently.
A familiar face to generations of Scottish film fans, Douglas is best known for his role as Billy in the classic Bill Forsyth film Gregory’s Girl. His career has also included appearances in That Sinking Feeling, Comfort and Joy, and television favourites such as Taggart, Rebus and Strathblair. In more recent years, Douglas has also written and directed independent films including Starcache and Acheron.
A long-time friend of Zico, a Calton native and regular visitor to The Barras, Douglas always enjoys a browse through our latest retro sportswear and vintage fashion collections, as well as a good Glasgow catch-up.
